Society
The Legacy Society was
created as a means to recognize and thank those people who share the
Foundation's vision of building permanent charitable capital, and who have
affirmed that vision by making a planned gift to local charitable
organizations through the Community Foundation.
Many individuals have made
the Community Foundation a beneficiary in their estate planning but have not
informed us. Some individuals have consented to have their names included to
encourage others to give as well. We gratefully acknowledge their generosity
and commitment to giving that is the hallmark of this country.
If you have included the
Community Foundation or one of its funds in your estate plans and would like
to be recognized in our Legacy Society, please let us know so that we may
understand the intentions of your gift. Joining the Legacy Society is one
method of giving something back to your community.

this generation can do is to lay stepping stones for the next
generation." Charles F. Kettering
