Martin County Community Foundation
MISSION STATEMENT
The
core mission of the Martin County Community Foundation is to build permanent
funds and to distribute income from those funds to projects, organizations,
charitable needs and civic endeavors that will enhance the quality of life
for the people of Martin County, Indiana. This mission is being
accomplished by providing a unique professional service, one of continuity
for donors, in an equal and non-partisan fashion. The foundation strives to
understand local needs and seek creative solutions to meet those needs
through commitment of long-term capital as well as taking advantage of
sharing expertise in resource development.
1. Attracting charitable donations (i.e., permanent endowments and
special projects).
2.
Managing charitable funds wisely and efficiently, for the purposes in which
they were donated.
3.
Helping donors turn their charitable wishes into
reality.
4.
Responding creatively to the emerging and changing needs of
Martin
County
.
5.
Working cooperatively with other charitable
organization serving the county to enhance their programs by providing
a permanent funding stream through designated or unrestricted endowments.
6.
Provide a local, non-partisan organization, to
serve as a resource for area institutions.
