CFP-LC Awards $94,352 in Boost and Impact Grants

The Community Foundation Partnership – Lawrence County Board of Directors awarded $84,525 in Impact Grants to fifteen non-profit agencies through the 2026 CFP-LC Open Grant Cycle.  An additional $9,827 was awarded in Boost Grants to six organizations. Boost Grants have a $2,000 cap and are for smaller projects or general support for an organization.

An additional $17,500 was awarded in conditional grants to four organizations. Fayetteville Community Lions Club was awarded a 1:1 challenge grant up to $10,000 for their project Who’s on First. The Town of Oolitic will receive a $4,000 grant for their project Movin’ Out! once they raise $3,300 toward the project. The Mitchell Walking Club was awarded a $1,500 challenge grant. The need to raise $500 to receive the grant. The United Way of South Central Indiana was awarded a $2,000 challenge grant for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. They will receive the grant when they have raised $2,000 for the program.

“This year’s Impact and Boost Grants assist a wide spectrum of Lawrence County organizations – schools, parks, municipalities, human and animal services organizations, and service clubs,” said Brad Dykes, CFP-LC Grants Chair. “The result is added value to the quality of life in our community.”
